MULTIPLAN 2045 is a coordinated effort to develop the Mississippi Department of Transportation’s (MDOT) statewide long-range transportation plan and the plans for the Central Mississippi Planning and Development District MPO, the Hattiesburg-Petal-Forrest-Lamar MPO, and the Gulf Regional Planning Commission MPO. These four separate plans are developed simultaneously for consistency.

Due to health concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Mississippi Department of Transportation and three of the state’s Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) held virtual public meetings to hear presentations on the draft MULTIPLAN 2045. Recordings of the meetings are located below.

Comments about MDOT’s draft statewide plan and the Hattiesburg-Petal-Forrest-Lamar MPO and Gulf Regional Planning Commission MPO draft plans are being accepted anytime during the official comment period of Oct. 16 – Nov. 30, 2020.

The 45-day comment period for the CMPDD MPO that began Sept. 19, 2020 has now ended.

Thank you for participating in the planning process!
